In the name of God Amen the fourteenth day of January Anno Dom 1712 in the tenth year of the reign of our Sovereign Lady Ann Queen of Great Britain France and Ireland I Henry Collett of Charlton Kings in the Diocese of Gloucester yeoman being sick and weak in body but of perfect understanding and memory do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner and form as followeth
First I bequeath my soul into the hands of Almighty God and my body to the earth whereof it was made and as for my temporal estate I dispose of as followeth
I give and bequeath all my free lands lying in the parish of Charlton Kings with all and every of their appertences there unto belonging or in any wise appertaining unto Elizabeth my wife for and during the term of her natural life and from and immediately after her decease to Edmund Goodrich and Sarah his wife my son-in-law and daughter for and during the term of their natural lives and life of the longer liver of them and to the heirs of the said Edmund lawful begotten or to be begotten upon the body of Sarah his wife and in default and want of such issue to return to my heirs forever
I give unto my daughter Joyce the sum of sixty pounds
I give unto my daughter Elizabeth the sum of seventy pounds
I give unto my grandchildren ten shillings a piece all which said sums to be paid within two years after my decease
I give unto Elizabeth my wife the use of all household goods during the term of her life and after her decease to my three daughters equally divided
All the rest of my temporal estate goods cattle chattels whatsoever I give and bequeath unto Elizabeth my wife and do make and appoint her to be full and sole executor of this my last Will and Testament in witness whereof I have here unto set my hand and seal the and year above written
